The Rabbi
Rabbi Yossi Madvig grew up in LA and attended UCSD where he earned his degree in The Study of Religion. After university, he received rabbinical ordination while studying at the Rabbinical College of America in Morristown, NJ. He is currently serving as the Rabbi for Oswego and its surrounding areas. He loves learning new things and isn’t afraid of a challenge. Before becoming a rabbi, Rabbi Yossi tinkered with skiing, fishing and scuba diving. He could use a good dive buddy if anyone’s interested.

The Rebbitzen
Rebbitzen Chana Madvig grew up in Mechanicville, NY and attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute where she earned her degree in Biomedical Engineering. After university she attended Machon Chana in Brooklyn, NY where she studied Jewish texts, law, and Chasidic philosophy. Chana teaches Jewish classes at SUNY Oswego and works as an Engineer. She loves playing board games with the family and enjoys programming and crafting.
